Jacob Askeroth has been an artist all of his life and he enjoys drawing, painting, and woodcarving. Growing up he was always drawing and doodling on school assignments and notes. It wasn’t until 2018, however, that he decided to start woodcarving and painting. As is evident from his artwork, he draws much of his inspiration from geometric shapes and symmetry, stained glass windows, and his faith. Using mainly acrylic paints on canvas, Jacob enjoys portraying key events and notable figures portrayed as they might look in a stained glass window. He has also always been very moved by and fascinated in the architectural and interior decorative beauty of temples of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Jacob currently lives in West Lafayette, Indiana, with his wife, Kelli. They have four beautiful children – Liam (10), Mayley (7), Henry (4), and Jane (1), all of whom love creating art everyday.
